Hahahaha! I was thinking about Klax too! [edit] just seen the title of the poll, whoops!
I played Klax, hated it, yet still play it occasionally - and hate it still! |

I could never play that game. The blocks trundled up too fast for me, and I was never quick enough. It always frustrated me.
The intro speech/music was very cool though. |

Amiga will never die!

I played Klax for the first time tonight on the Midway Arcade Treasures disc for Playstation 2. Then I saw this thread. Klax is alright, I had a bit of fun on it.
Update: I've just played it on the CD32. IT's harder than the arcade version, although the gameplay is very smooth but the graphics are pretty crappy compared to the arcade game, which is a shame since the A500 could have totally used the eact same graphics as the arcade version if they had ported them over. IT was probably an ST port like most arcade games in the 80s and 90s. Last edited by Rebel-CD32; 27 May 2007 at 21:27. |

If you think klax was any fun at all you really should grab Lumines on psp/ps2/x360. Combines music and puzzle, is damn fun and pretty cheap, around €12 now.

I cant play any of those match the colour games, as my eyes just dont seem to see colours properly and I always gets greens and yellows mixed up and blues and puples. So I cant play all the cool mame puzzle games either like Super puzzle fighter and Landmaker

Freaky, don't be sad, puzzle games aren't all that great - I find them more frustrating then satisfying. Cheer up mate.
Perhaps off topic, but has an optometrist diagnosed you with some type of colour blindness? |

He can't be that blind, his avatar is amazingly well drawn and shows vivid use of colour.

I think my trouble with seeing colours is somehow linked to the fact that I'm a retard or a genius, I forget which. I feel that my choise of avatar may shed light on which.

I don't get it
I vote greatest thread ever Do you really think that if they released Klax in the 80's the world just wouldn't have been ready for it? Everyone would be like; "Klax, yeah right. Maybe in the 90's but not now, I've got to buy hairspray from my huge 20 foot tall hair do while listening to chart music that I think is total crap but when it's compared to the stuff they will have in 20 years time it will look like the works of a great composer" Or words to that effect? All this thread needs now is a |

I don't give a Klax!
Never really got into that game, even though I have been known to enjoy the occasional puzzler or two. :-) |

Klax isn't a puzzler. It's a way of living life in the 90s. Only if there is time of course. And in the 90s there was.
I still think there is always time for Klax. But you mustn't confuse time with an old barn owl. There isn't always an old barn owl for Klax. Easy mistake. |
