the .lha for my Mister comes with Picasso96.setting file too .. i have tried copying that but still no joy ... if i try and run Picasso96mode in prefs i get "unable to open your tool Picasso96mode" ps it's just a clean install of akreal l i have not added a thing only the things in Mister rtg lha

fyi i have rtg working fine on Mister with the same files. on another workbench setup just can't get then working on akReal

I don't have the MiSTer, but in the system I think you should have this:

- SYS:Devs/Monitor copy -> MiSTer and MiSTer.info
- SYS:Devs copy -> Picasso96Settings "MiSTer"
- SYS:Libs copy -> Picasso96API.library

- SYS:Libs/Picasso96 Copy -> Emulation.library
- SYS:Libs/Picasso96 Copy -> RTG.library

If present in your system:

- SYS:Libs/Picasso96 Delete -> uaegfx.card
- SYS:Devs/Monitors Delete-> uaegfx and uaegfx.info

i got it working by running better config from the tools draw... replaced all the file in the rtg.lha from https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Mini...MiSTer_RTG.lha note if it won't boot hold down the left mouse button

i still cant get it to boot with out left mouse button at startup ps even tried in winuae and get the same ... note this with rtg

ok progress i tried the startup-sequence from post 786 and now it boots every time but there is still few things going on here is a video [ Show youtube player ]

there are graphical issues ... one you can see in the video is the yellow title bar and the window frame is messed up too
update fixed by reapplying the theme

On my AKreal 8 I don't see that bar, it might not support your resolution, when you look at the background you should bring the image to the same resolution of your screen

I imagined it was a corruption of the theme

Watching the video I noticed that MiSTer is not powerful enough for this kind of Distributions, you should try to choose a configuration without Dopus5 and maybe without AfA_OS, in this way it could become lighter, even the PNG icons weigh down the system.

Does this work with 3.1.4 ROMS? I know it says it wants 3.9 installed and I think there is away to run 3.9 with 3.1.4 ROMS.

I always thought Amikit just asked for pretty much any of the workbench disks, has AKreal not been updated to work with 3.1.4?
I should set my Toaster Oven up again, been meaning to for a while, but been distracted by MiSTer, V4SA, and other platforms.

btw, can someone please send me a 1920x1080 (60hz) P96 config file

At one point in time I had found a p96 mode generator for Linux, where it would take the x11 screenmodes and convert them. But I should have one on one of my Amigas that might work.

Give this one a try? It's from an old backup, so not sure if it's one that has a 1920x1080 resolution in it. They are fairly easy to create with the p96mode prefs program though.

(This goes in the Devs folder and should remove the .68k at the end)

Sweet! Glad that worked! I made that config years ago and made a ton of backups all over the place to make sure I didn't lose it.
