What HD for an Alfa Data: Alfapower 500 controller?

Hiya, a friend has an Alfa Data: Alfapower 500 , does it have any special HD specs? do we need a specific size?

thabnks Jope, my friend has tried some HD's already (I will actually see it today) and all he got was crashes trying to format/partition the drive...
I have a 40MB , a 430MB and a 630MB HD to test

im using 1GB microdrive (CF) with alfapower, works great!
