The Spy Who Loved Me - Aternate Protection

Using WHDLoad in an emulated A1200 setup!

Seems there is another version from the Super Heroes compilation that uses another form of copy protection (that's not Copylock) that needs supporting, nearly 22 years later

This one uses an IBM style longtrack on 79.0 / 79.1 (not sure if 79.1 is actually part of the protection check) and DIC will fail when reading Track 79 and abort the install!

In the bootblock is this text: This is only the Beta Test version of thisprotection you know, you're not that good. SMH '91SoftLock v0.9

Unfortunately my dump has a bad track 67.0 but there is an official IPF of this exact same dump: IPF #3093 which isn't bad but shows track 79.1 as a normal ADOS track, so can this version be supported please?

Also filled in the form for this slave on WHDLoad.

I did a check, it appears track 67.0 is bad from factory, your dump looks good visually (track is broken, but strangely, nothing explains that on the dump).

The protection is pretty simple : 10 sectors and 9 sectors on each Long track, each sized 6580 bytes and 657x bytes. The end of the track on size 0 contains a chunk of the program, that you could not copy with a regular drive.

So is this the 'Softlock' protection mentioned in the bootblock?
