I was wondering if anyone else was having problems getting the latest version of the book from Amazon? I am in the US, but the Amazon store shows version 1.4 in the preview, but I can only obtain version 1.0 of the book which was the current version when I purchased it.

I contacted Amazon to request they send a link to existing customers to the latest edition of the book - unfortunately this doesn't happen automatically but takes upto 4 weeks as Amazon check the two versions of the book to see if there are significant changes to warrant sending the update.

Unfortunately it is just a case of being patient. I bought a copy at launch too and therefore I will receive an email too. As soon as I do will update this post so that customers know to check their emails and update their kindle library.

Ok, thanks. I thought I would automatically have the new version updated. You did mention the email but I had forgotten about it.

The back has now been changed to read discontinued in the 1990s - the book is now unavailable in paperback until Amazon update their files - this will take 3 - 5 working days so the book is unavailable until potentially next Saturday.
