Pop up message window during startup-sequence

Hi,

I am trying to find a way of displaying a pop up message window that will appear during a floppy startup-sequence in the foreground.

I do not want a dialogue type prompt that waits for user input. Just text displayed in a popup window and the startup-sequence will just carry on and loads workbench using the loadwb command.

Is there a suitable command/tool that would be suitable for this?

run >nil: requestchoice "popup title" "popup body" "ok"

Change strings to meet your needs.
As it is from floppy you will have to copy the command itself as well (it's from wb's C dir iirc).
Might need kick v36+, though.

Thanks!

I had forgotten about using "run >nil:" to run things in the background.

This is intended for A600 and A1200 machines - so I'm expecting it to be Kickstart v36+
