#include <mui/html_mcc.h>
#include <mui/Hotkey_mcc.h> I can't find these anywhere. Any ideas? |

Only thing I could find was htmlview and hotkeystring. Question is, what source is using html and hotkey mcc? Maybe that gives a clue.

The HTML view MCC is at https://github.com/amiga-mui/htmlview but the closest I could find to hotkey.mcc was hotkeystring.mcc at http://aminet.net/package/dev/mui/MCC_HotkeyStr but I hope that solves it.

@ johnhkc
What is it that you’re trying to build/compile? If you can share details about name, author, age of the program/code we can get a better idea of where to look for the missing pieces. |

I wrote a MUI GUI builder about 30 years ago. I never released it. I'm not sure how far along I got. I wanted to get it running again so I could compare it to the Java GUI tools I've developed over the years and see what the Amiga stuff can do that the Java cannot.

Neat. I hope you're able to get it working.
The link that Hedeon shared has MCC_HTML. On Aminet there's MCC_HTMLtext by the same author, which is either a later version with a new name or a new class that does the same thing but might have different internal structures. It might work as a drop-in replacement, but if it doesn't you can get the older MCC_HTML. HotKey is a different matter. I can't tell if it's simply an older name/version of what is now HotkeyString (part of the BetterString package) or if it's something different. Unfortunately, it seems Allan Odgaard (the original author of BetterString) did not upload his work to Aminet so there are no old snapshots of it on the old Aminet CDs to compare against. And his old personal website has not been archived by the Wayback machine. Jens Maus, current maintainer of BetterString, might be able to provide an answer since he has Allan Odgaard's old files. |

I recently saw an Amiga IDE by Jamie Krueger(?) called AVD, I think. His screenshot reminded me of my "OOGA" builder from '98. I've attached a screenshot.
I've got several versions of the source code. I'm still trying to figure out which is the latest. All the backups have the same date/time. I definitely found one that isn't the latest. ;-) |
