The Amiga community seems to lack the low-level software people these days.
Well that's the main issue: developers have left (or died). A lot of development was done by companies that worked for profit. There is no money left in Amiga.

Based on the debugger information in the lower left part of the screen it looks like he's a tester if not the author of the drivers!

The chip has a PCM streaming mode which lets you send a plain, stereo audio stream directly to it. It's "only" a matter of configuring the chip, provided it has low enough latency to be useful.

If that's the case, it still relies on the CPU on the accelerator card to mix and resample. It will save the Paula DMA for sound effects though.

This is the case for most AHI sound cards, they usually don't have more than one stereo hardware channels.

The Main Problem aktually is, that there is no hardwareinterrup, telling the driver that the very small Buffer is emty

Once there's a working AHI driver I'd probably get one as well, but alas this card has become unobtainium. AFAIK there was no official reason given (hence the speculation), the closest explanation I found was the planned redesign for a new version.
