Arrow Philips CM8833Mk_2 monitor for sale...

Last item on the sale list in clear out/space saving...

The only issue is the power button doesn't stay in the 'on' position. If you can wedge something between the button then it'll stay on no problem.

Internal speakers work fine, scanlines are nice

It's got faint yellowing on the case but other than that clean condition.

Will come with 23-pin > 9-pin data cable and I'll throw in a new 3-pin plug

The control flap at the front works ok/case isn't cracked or anything nasty...

I can do it for £24.99 posted within UK (Parcel Force post is £14.99). I may be able to get post cheaper but I'll need to investigate with Parcel2Go....

If you want pics then I can sort them out? Obviously, no warranty, sold as-is... working fine at the moment but this is almost 20 years old now!

Hey Paul,

Just a quick question.

Is the 23-pin to 9-pin data cable Commodore Part No.390681-03 (23-pin female to 9-pin male with only six pins in that end), or is it something different?

Thanks,

Very easy to fix if the buyer is into DIY electronics.

Note that monitors are not insured with Parcel2Go

It's not a Commodore part, the 9-pin socket is for the RGB port on the back of the monitor.

Cheers Alex, will stick to doing it with Parcel Force as standard then at the rate posted.

I had one picked up recently by a courier. It worked perfectly before I wrapped it up. Arrived dead at its destination - no compensation because the courier won't insure TVs or monitors

Ah, bollicks. well, I'll try and wrap this up best I can. Never had any probs with Parcel Force... you could always pick it up if local (Manchester area)...

parcelforce refuse to deliver to me because i live up some steps off the road. they say they only have to deliver to the road not the door. they've even left parcels on the side of the road then rang me to notify. its only cause i've lived round here all my life that people know me and have taken things in for me. i refuse point blank to use them.

Parcel Force regularly leave insured items requiring a signature from the recipient with my neighbours or unattended behind my house.

If they ever do it, I always say that it got nicked or my neighbours wont return it and force a claim on their insurance.

The depot is only 600 yrds up the road?!? Not like it is any inconvenience for me to collect it later.
