It's not nonsense, really
Think of it as an extension to a wider audience where EAB will become the largest forum on the planet |

Puts a new meaning on getting ahead in life Facebook though is something my Daughter and Granddaughter use, I think people are too easily exchanging personal information to what are realistically strangers, without even thinking about the possible consequences. There have been instances of folk bragging that they are going on holliday etc and on return have found that they have been burgled and the likes.... That's why I don't divulge things on such sites, heaven only knows how I would cope if people found out that I am a cross dresser and a real animal lover. Mind you I have gone right off sheep after the fright I got last lambing season! how did so many of those cute lambs know? I didn't even realise they could talk, but when the started to say DDDAAAAAAADDDDD I got out of there pretty quick |

DH - got the message a couple of days ago, joined the group on teh faceboks.
Talking of faceboks applications check out Social Graph - cool little app that makes a graphical representation of your friends list. You see little clusters of friends forming where they have things in common (ie uni, workplace). Also if you have a spouse, you can see how far she/he extends into it. Mines is a bit of a cancer...! |

I know, I've been keeping an eye on who's joined the new group, who hasn't removed themselves from the old group and who I've sent messages too that haven't responded yet.
I don't normally spy on people on FB but I just want everyone to move over as amicably as possible and to remove themselves from the old group where changes can't be made anymore. I just wish Dizzy had appointed someone else to be Admin of the group, then none of this would of happened. Hmm, Social Graph, I try and keep away from all of these FB apps, maybe I'll have a look at some later date as I'm a little too busy atm Last edited by DH; 09 December 2010 at 15:18. |

No. NO! I'm NOT doing it.
I'm not creating a Facebook account. It is the end of the beginning of the end. |

Of course they are, to be toasted in the oven with onions. Well I've simply deleted my Facebook account, has many of you who were my friends there may have noticed (or not). Having 4500 'friends' to be able to grow on a game (Mafia Wars) was a bit silly honestly. I stopped playing it 7 months ago and finally, finally(!) was able to return to a sensible life thereafter. I have a fake account now just to be able to follow some news from companies I'm interested in, but is not a sociable account. I'm thinking about joining this new group though. (hummm... and then here we go again) DH, was my name automatically removed on the old group when I deleted the account? |

If you deleted your account that would be why we have 2 post deleted in the old 'Who are you' discussion board, no name nor mugshot to go off, just a blank space with a nobody default avatar Once your gone, you're gone for good it seems.
If you re-join, you don't have to do anything you know, it's not like we're a game app like Mafia Wars, where you spend countless hours, days, weeks, months, years at a time knocking people off because you think you're the Godfather |

Good on ya Xpect
Well, we have superseded the old group now, with 63 members and still climbing, even though there are still 21 members from the old group that haven't joined yet. *** IMPORTANT *** Can I remind everyone, especially those who are still members of the old group, could you please remove yourselves, from the old group, as we are trying to dwindle it down. |

You dear Sir, without Facebook or Twitter account simply do not exist on the modern world. That's an irrefutable fact.
Yes you did, thank you my friend. Now we just have to discuss who will wear the red hat on there... Well, I will, EOD. So, time for the pr0n pics to start rolling! Last edited by AmigaFriend; 11 December 2010 at 15:27. Reason: No should have been So |
