PortAsm / Relogix

Hi, I'm looking for the demo version of the 68k to x86 assembler translator PortAsm, but Microapl seem to have gone defunct. Does any of you guys have the demo program laying around? I'm similarly interested in the Relogix demo.

I don't even think that they gave a demo, sound more like internals tools used in house to convert ASM to C for their clients.

It is still touted on their site: http://microapl.com/Porting/Demo68Kto86.html

However, you can not send a request for the demo because of broken web code.

Thanks! Do you know if any of their other products also have downloadable demos?

Try VirtualBox, you can install a 32-bit Windows 98 / XP even if you run a 64-bit Win10.

you can use Universal Extractor to unpack the _SETUP.1 file.
the unpacked _SETUP/Group1/pa68to86demo.exe does work in a win7 shell.

#1) i've zoned: PortAsm68to86_extracted.SETUP.file.zip

Reporting back: MicroAPL is still in business. I got the demo running on 32-bit Windows XP, seems to work fine and seems to produce quite reasonable x86 code.

Didn't help me achieve what I wanted, but that was not PortAsm's fault but simply that I wasn't helped by translating to x86.

If it is a small program it may be simpler to convert it to C and compile all it to x86.
