Erm - this looks fantastic but how does one apply the assorted files contained in the archive? Specifically for Windows 7 (if that make a difference)...

You should check a little better before posting a claim that states something is malware/a virus. This only harms people who would otherwise enjoy this package.

There are no ads, no malware, etc, on my site. It's all at cost to the developer (me). I even made sure the site would be accessible to old machines/browsers.

Since when is HTML 3.2 a virus?

You need to install IconPackager to use this feature. Otherwise install the icons/cursors manually. You're on your own in this regard. If IconPackager isn't working correctly, contact stardock for support.

IconPackager greatly simplifies the installation of custom icons via the 'properties' page of a folder/file/executable--otherwise you have to use the built in 'customize' feature from the 'properties' page which makes you enter the path to the custom icons *every time you change one*. It's really tedious.

I know of no other way to change executable icons other than IconPackager. If anyone here knows, post a follow up, please. It would be helpful to add to the readme.

Please enjoy AmigaConversionKit! It's made my life in Windows bearable until Aros is in a better state. Want to help out? Please donate some money to Aros--Especially the Zune bounty: http://www.power2people.org/projects/profile/61

Could someone please share version 1.1? It seems the site is completely down at the moment.

Thank you very much in advance.

The site has been heavilty updated/changed. I've put more of my stuff up too. Just visit www.jellybeanstyling.com to get the conversion kit. It's under the 'windows' section. Ver 1.2 will be up soon too, with many many more icons.

PLEASE NOTE: use www.jellybeanstyling.com and not jellybeanstyling.com, as the server has some kind of weird caching issue. CTRL-F5 in firefox also can help if things are being updated, which happens regularly these days. Hope you all enjoy the package and so forth!

If you enjoy the package, please donate to AROS!

Separated all the parts into links to archives so that it isn't required to download to whole package at once.

Added more pieces and links to other interesting items.

Hi Jason,

Great project , but please retain the whole package as a single download as well, for those who would prefer it that way.

UXTheme patcher works on xp, vista, and 7.

Customizing icons can be done in all sorts of ways for all the aforementioned platforms.

Linux/Unix/etc already has a number of complete theme kits.

Information on using these types of resources is available in a multitude of places.
