GVP HD8+ A500 Hard drive with 8mb ram - working * (Read all description)


Comes with 8mb ram, all ram checks out via test kit and onboard diag
Has a 1gig drive in there
Also included is the 80mb drive which came with it
And a 4gb drive which I never got working via an adapter
Copy of the GVP hd install floppy disk
No box (Sadly this got ripped and thrown years ago)
Comes with original correct psu (See photos)



All works I've currently plugged it into my a500 with 3.1 rom just to test it


It was in my a500+ which is currently faulty
So the hd has workbench 2.0 on it
Obviously you could change this to whatever you need


Only because I have an a1200 now this is up for sale - used it for years

The only problem I can see with it is sonmetimes when you reset the machine...
The orange hd stays on solid and it doesn't boot
Reset it 1, 2 or 3 times then it kicks in again and starts flashing and boots


Sometimes you don't need to multiple reset, it's weird...I never got to the bottom of why it did that, but as I say used it for years like that and it always worked after a reset or two
Maybe someone more clever has an idea what might do that? HD? Ram type?
