Radwell is a distributor for old, out-of-stock parts. They are legit. I've used them at my job to get PLC relay boards for a 35-year old test fixture the had an obsolete PLC in it.
Be advised that their parts are generally NOT new (unless they come out and say that they are NOS); I ordered two boards from them (to replace the defective one, and have a spare if another one went bad; the fixture is still in use at a supplier). Both boards worked fine. |

Ah thanks for that, good to know.
I'm guessing they mainly sell to US Defense contractors for repairs or upgrades. Will buy some cpus from them in the next couple of months. NOS is ok for me. |

They're not cheap by any means, but they're indispensable when you're looking to repair machinery that the manufacturer no longer makes.
I doubt they are big into military, since most military jobs contractually require service parts. Places like Digikey are still selling 8051 microcontrollers and 5400 series logic chips, and mil-spec connectors, so there's really no value add there for Radwell. |
