Wow - that's quite a lot, excellent work!

[EDIT] Almost 1300 demodisks, that's freakin' amazing.

Yup, my collection from back in the day, games would come and go, but always tried to keep the scene productions

Out of curiosity, what computer and program did you use to imaging the collection ?
These were all ripped with DiskRipper, on my A1200.. I’ve just grabbed a greaseweazel so I’ve got a couple of others with custom loaders to try and grab.. I may take another look at the ones I got a load of bad sectors on at a later date also.

Cheers

Thanks for reply, but i have another question

Did you clean the disks or the floppy drive sometimes ?

I mean, i don't know if this is something necessary or not to rip the disks ....

Thanks for the work done and for sharing, @D13TZ13
I had a quick look and immediately located something that was not on Kestra ... Ended up spending the day in there

Initially I had cleaned the external drives (when I first got them out of storage) but my disks were kept in sealed storage containers, away from dust/moisture etc, so I was pretty confident on the state of them.

I swapped external drives when errors cropped up (just to check it wasn’t the drive) but these seemed to be few and far between.

Hope that helps.

Nice! Good to hear there’s some ‘new’ stuff found. I had noticed some additional SAE demo disks there I’d not seen elsewhere yet, but not looked too much so far myself.

D13TZ13, I'm curious as to what your handle(s) was/were back then - if any?

I was not part of any groups, just swapped locally, certainly no big scene name. I did use TCJ (The Chrome Jester ?!) for a (real) short time, but mostly tagged my stuff with DTZ (my stuff being pixel art).
