Indivision ECS & Amiga 600 Joystick trouble

I recently bought new Indivision ECS and A603 memory expansion for my Amiga 600.
Installation went ok, and when was all completed, I started to play games. To my surprise my joystick worked with a problem. When I push UP it goes UP-LEFT, other directions work fine. But I cannot make a UP direction.
After some testing I realized that it is caused by Indivision scandoubler, because when I disconnect scandoubler from the A603 expasion joystick works ok, when I give it back, problem is back.
Does anyone knows solution for this?

Yes, the solution is to ensure that the Indivision ECS pins are firmly plugged into the socket holes on the A603. This is a connection problem.

amigakit thats where I've bought it. Thanks for suggestions,
unfortunatelly problem is probably not the connection, scandoubler fits perfectly, I checked it very carefully.
After having no success, I have tried scandoubler in my Amiga 500+, where it works fine, without any joystick problems.
Maybe A603 problem? I really would like to have it working in my A600, any other idea?

I suggest (if you have a multimeter) to make a continuity test on every pin starting from the lower part of A603 to the upper socket part of Indivision ECS.
There is a chance one (or more) of A603 socket's female pin is kinda larger than it should (it can happen) so the Indivision isn't making a firm connection at this Pin.

I had this issue with a random pin and when I found it, I fixed it and everything works just fine now

ok, thanks. My old multimetr can not do this, so I have to buy more advanced one later. If it may be a connection problem, this could probably help.

Simply use a low resistance setting instead. If you get 0 ohms or close to it you know you've got continuity.

Now I discovered that the problem is the A603 itself. It does the problem even without scandoubler attached. With my old memory expansion everything works fine. I probably should contact Jens to ask him..

Check to see if there are any shorts when the A603 is attached. Also ensure that good contact is being made with the edge connector of the A600 motherboard.

the card looks ok, without any visible signs whick could case shorts. Also the contact with motherboard seems to be fine. I tested the card in both of my A600 computers with the same results.. I also tried to run without battery attached but this doesnt help either..

I guess this is just part and parcel of running old technology. Also, you invalidated your commodore warranty by breaking the seal!
