Elysium by Magic Bytes
I'm looking for the game Elysium by Magic Bytes. There is a version in TOSEC but there are errors on the disk. Does anybody have an error-free version or an original?

I think I've got a version that works, I'll test it. But there's a problem with the game, someone posted some month ago in a German Amiga Forum. If you want to enter a particular menue (I think it was the military menue or something) the game crashes. Also it wasn't that easy to get it running.
I'll test it and then I'll post again or I'll edit this post. Greets Insanus EDIT: Ah, I just saw that it's a German version of Elysium. I'll try it anyway for the configuration. Is a German version also helpful? EDIT2: It seems as if my copies are also corrupted. The game crashes when entering "Military". It starts (title screen looks a bit strange) but the game itself hasn't got graphical errors. AFAIK it's rather a problem with the emulator. Have you tried these disks on a real amiga? BTW, have you got an English or German version? According to hol the game was German only. Last edited by Insanus; 02 May 2005 at 17:11. |

I got a REAL Amiga sitting next to me, and it would not be the very first time if the game works correctly on the miggy... @Insanus Could you re-upload your German version too, please? Liked to test them all on the real thing. Last edited by andreas; 09 May 2005 at 01:37. |

thanks!
BTW you've uploaded two identical disks. CRC32 is the same Anyway, the errors are the same (Title.mda.tp - blocks 412ff. ; hilight.mda - blocks 407ff.) There are also errors on disk 2 (Buch.mda.tp, Bauinf.mda, steur.mda). (Disk 3 is 100% ok!) Last edited by andreas; 30 August 2005 at 14:20. |

The original has been acquired!
Yes, I do have the original now. I hope I can someday be arsed to PDF that 71-(!)page manual
My manual here is identical to the PC version, does not even contain installation infos for the Amiga version. Everything Amiga-related has been crammed on the boot disk (Disk 1). Enjoy! ATTENTION: This 3-disk set has a manual protection: you will require the original manual or its codes. Unless someone happens to volunteer for the removal of the protection [edit] in the meantime ... I've just done 30 quick runs (thanks to save-state ) and typed in the codes which correspond to the page requests that appeared. Should be sufficient to get into the game Last edited by andreas; 30 August 2005 at 20:47. |

You're welcome, but this time, do NOT thank me
Some kind guy (who wants to stay anonymously, which I respect) caught me on ICQ and gave me useful hints how to bypass that nuisant protection, so I was able to remove it eventually. The deprotected version of Disk 1 is now in the zone. If you happen to decide to TOSEC-ize this, please append an unobtrusive [cr]. This will fully suffice. Thanks. I surfed the net yesterday to find an additional version but bad luck. I´ll go hunting again later this afternoon. |
