Hey, only THREE days left to join the july quiz! We are 45 people in total, and six from here. Record participation from the English Amiga Board, MAYBE it's because of this rounds topic. ![]() Deadline is Tuesday the 31st of July - participate via http://www.retrogamequiz.com/ |

Now that you say it, true! :O
But they might be disappointed with the quiz content of future riddles, as it's about more recent stuff as well... |

Hmmmm, I thought that I got 23 screenshots correct. Apart from Tom Thumb and "not even human", which other one did I get wrong?

Funnily this game was mentioned yesterday in a new thread:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=93663 Why can't people have issues with games before the end of the quiz? Mindful EAB readers would then get precious hints (first time I read about this game). ![]() |

I only got it from the clue:
"Title 22 took the wrong lessons from "rise of the robots" also a 2D beat'em'up with render graphics and bad gameplay, but this time not even the graphics are pretty... rightfully getting it scores way below 50%." 1998 pretty late in the Amiga Timeline but AF + CU Amiga were still out there. |

![]() August Quiz - Retro Pixel #2 Hossa, almost forgot the quiz for this month! I'm having a busy couple weeks right now with moving countries and job hunting... that means the SoundFX quiz that some of you are looking forward to is coming a bit later. Instead we are getting a new entry in the "retro pixel" series. For August we don't focus on a specific platform, but are looking for a wild mix of zoomed in characters from all kinds of genres, devices and decades. ![]() Deadline is friday the 31st of August - please participate via http://www.retrogamequiz.com/ Here is the quiz... good luck! ![]() ![]() direct link: https://i.imgur.com/hGMOmtx.png |

Nexus, I took the liberty of editing your post, removing the potential good answers.
I am sure Mr_Horizon would prefer every player to take their chances without anyone else giving the answers before. |

Well, let's see what Mr_Horizon has to say on that matter. It is is game after all.
My opinion: If you want to do it as a group thing (supposing Mr_Horizon is OK with that), it is better not to post in public in order: a) not to spoil it for those who want to play individually b) not to be spied upon by those other nasty retro communities ![]() Should he be OK, a Social Group on EAB can be set up for that purpose. However, I believe that in such a case it would be fair only if the group members made one entry in the contest as a team ("EAB team", "Amiga's Angels" "Jay Miner Superstar", whatever...) and forfeit their right to enter individually. Or maybe "the team" would post in this very thread during the few days between the end of the deadline and the moment Mr_Horizon posts the answers (usually 3-4 days from a quick glance). They can then compare their guesses when the answers are posted. This way it would not influence anyone since the entries are no longer opened for contestants. |

I'm sure the whole quiz is useless, if google image lookup is your way to go.
