In AGA programmed interlace modes the interlace fields seem to be swapped.

A4000 030 quickstart, three floppy drives with WB3.1, Extras and Storage. From Storage/Monitors double click Super72, then from Extras/Prefs/Screenmode select Super72:Hires Interlaces (800 x 600) and click use.

Also in the window the screen seems horizontally squished, no matter if Display is set to Hires or Superhires. The hardcopy taken by WinUAE (before filtering) seems ok.

Please test and check also previous versions (at least 4.4, 4.9 and previous official). There has been lots of programmed mode changes that it is possible every version is slighty different, not surely right or wrong..

Might be related: if I Alt-Tab from WinUAE (Full-Window mode) to a Notpad window, the Files menu is active, as if the Alt key was still pressed.

This only happens if Notepad is the next window. It does not happen if I need to press Tab twice or more to move on to the next window.

It works for me in superhires (or if "VGA mode resolution autoswitch" is ticked, which is the option to autofix this)

Maybe some filter option is enabled?

Ye olde troublemaker Up Front - Cool Fridge (smooth copper part) seems to be broken from 4.10.2b1 -> b2 (also latest winuae.7z).

Since the beginning of this beta, I noticed that ADF files remained locked after being ejected or replaced in the drive by another disk. The system prevents files from being deleted or moved until the WinUAE is closed.

Other people have this problem?

No, as mentioned above, this is in a fresh empty directory with only winuae.exe and winuae.ini, the ROM and ADF files.

I discovered the following: If I leave window size at default (768 x 576) the image looks squished horizontally and does not fit vertically as the screenshot in my previous post shows. But if I extend the window width beyond 800, for example to 801 x 576, scaling works as expected, the whole Amiga screen fits into the window horizontally and vertically, even with borders.

Your filter mode is "default" which attempts to get sort of output that is mostly ok for "normal" users. Don't use it if you want to use programmed modes or expect integer scaling.

There is chance this can be finally emulated properly, without any really ugly hacks (that break every time emulation gets improved or changed..)

Nice, leave it broken for as long as you like (it's not like I need this fixed ), just figured I'd let you know.

This is quite strange. It looks like Windows sees the key as stuck for some reason. WinUAE only reads keys, without using any tricks, it can't affect what Windows side driver(s) do.

Key stuck virtually on Amiga side would make sense, this does not.

Are you sure you don't have any "helper" applications that tries to be too smart? Or something like that.

EDIT: when did it start? (which version). Or did it start when you updated something else than WinUAE?

Only if they pertain specifically to the new beta's, if not use a thread outside this and say what beta it failed in. Always remember to try a 'normal' config ie stock machine unless the item needs more ram etc.

Could you be more specific. I have just tried several versions with b2 ( IPF and WHDLoad slave 2.0 ) and I see nothing when launching the game.
Where exactly is the problem? Could you take a screenshot please ? Thanks.

Quickstart A500.

Compatibility slider in max position? It came from the desert is known to have glitches if not cycle accurate mode. Or do you mean same non-cycle accurate mode is now glitchy but worked previously?

I can reproduce with your configuration ( OCS, 1Mo chip, 3 drives ). Pic 1.
But OCS with more of 512Ko Chip ??? It's impossible theoretically.
