What was this BBS/Terminal 'protocol'.
At the end of my Amiga era, 91-92, there was a BBS software which was quite peculiar on worked only with a specific terminal program but I can't remember what the whole system was. In the beginning we had text-only BBS's, and then came all these fancy ANSI graphics, but this was something else.
IIRC in the menu files there were some graphical commands which then generated some simple shapes on the callers end. Boxes, circles, lines and the likes. About the style in the picture below. Not sure if there were key commands available or was it just used by clicking the mouse on the functions. Does anyone remember this or have I been dreaming ![]() ![]() |
