Problem with "search for more posts by this user"
Seems like the vBulletin or something has a limit of showing NO MORE than 500 posts from any user.
If I click on me "search more posts by this user" option, the search page comes up with a max of 500 posts So I can't do a search for all my 7k+ posts. Can this be fixed as to allow no limit? Is there any tech reason for it to work like this? Does the same hapen with the forum search, thus probably leaving some threads out of the search's scope? |

It's either a limit of vBulletin or it's a default search limit. The same thing happens when I search another vBulletin forum as well as EAB

Excellent.
I noticed I can go back in time further if I chose "Show posts one year old and older", but it still limits to 500 posts, so no bananas. This is vital for looking for old shit from each member, for the gemming archive  It could also be resolved with adding a search option that specifies dates. Like "search for posts older than XX-XX-XXXX date" |

"Maximum Search Results to Return" boosted to 1000.
hope it will be enough, I can increase it more if you need, but we should go back to 500 or 1000 for performance issues

Hmm
Can I as a supermod have the special atribute to view as many as I want? This still doesn't go as far back as 7000 posts of mine! Just asking, thanks for the help  How about just making my search within a months' range? like, I want to search for my posts between june and september of 2001. |

no time for working on EAB now, HOL2 is my highest priority.
I have boosted the search engine to 10.000 ! |
