Adding the game to list to play... thanks for sharing.

EDIT:
Love the end of presentation...

Forgive Me Father

Saw several people on YT playing or at least trying it and since it went on sale I got it. Really not a bad 'retro' shooter and the Lovecraftian element is quite neat. Don't regret getting it.

I am finishing something a lot calmer tonight...

The Suicide of Rachel Foster

It had a 5€ sale on Switch a while ago, and I do like an atmospheric walking simulator. So far I like the presentation, but the story better pick up soon because it has been a tad boring.

Maybe it gets a port to Switch? Who knows It's not that amazing, but a solid 7.5/10 so far.

I played The Vanishing of Ethan Carter which was pretty fun in a calm way. Seems like I picked The Suicide of Rachel Foster up in a bundle at some point, so I might give that a go too. Been a while since I played a walking simulator.

Since walking simulators were mentioned yesterday I remembered that I never got to play Firewatch. Just played through day one and it's pretty interesting. I also like the style of the game.

Oh, imho Firewatch is much better! Feels more interactive, gets interesting sooner, and while the story has a strange twist it's never as contrived as some of the turns in Rachel Fosters Suicide.

Well, let me know what you think once you've tried them? They are both short games.

Just started The Suicide of Rachel Foster and while the graphics looks very good, the walking 'speed' is horrible. I don't need to run through the game, but don't make me sneak through it.

This put a smile on my face though:

Oblivion:

Just encountered a Unicorn guarded (?)
by 2 Large Minotaurs (UESP says 3).

Rode it away --- stopped to get my bearings
and was knocked of and attacked by a
Minotaur and the Unicorn ???

(Apparently part of the Hircine Quest).

The Suicide of Rachel Foster has much bigger problems than its slow walking speed. The message is... let's say questionable.

Give Blackwood Crossing a try instead.

I kinda got bored on after day 3. The main protagonist isn't really likeable or interesting and the Shining setting doesn't work well either. I might still finish it, but regardless of the message it's not a good game.

Aracade Fun!

Moon Patrol was an Atari arcade game that I played for the first time at the RetroBlast Cafe in Newquay this Summer! Great arcade game! My favourite arcade game is still Chase HQ though with those flashing police lights! Awesome!

Been playing Sensible World of Soccer the past couple of nights but I am god awful. I bought a TAC-2 joystick for dirt cheap in a job lot ages ago and cleaned it up. I think as much as I am in love with the idea of this joystick, it just isnt very good and I need to find a new stick. Definitely the stick, nothing at all to do with my diminished gaming skills ha ha

Some of the guards from the Malacath quest
suddenly appeared in a random mine ---

A bit meh for me, dull and unrewarding after a few games but mates are all into it so, when in Rome ..

Started playing Beneath a Steel Sky on the Steam Deck. Really wanted to play this one on the CD32 but it's too expensive as tings stand.
