OctaMED as a MIDI slave device
I've been pulling my hair trying to get this shit to work like I want it to no avail over the weekend, so I hope someone can help. How I wish Protracker would support MIDI sync!!
Anyway, I am trying to slave OctaMED to an external synth that is giving out sync and note data on a certain channel. The thing is, I just want OctaMED to get sync and not note data. If I set "EXT-SYNC" on the MIDI options, it dons't work. It only works when I also select INPUT, but then it reacts to all teh MIDI note data, and doesn't even play the frigging tune properly. Anybody has any experience with this thing used in this particular way? |
