Worms - The Directors Cut

Anyone know where I can find the patch that adds CD-Rom support? I have tried Team17 website with no luck and aminet much the same.
I want to add the animations and soundtracks from CUCD7 covermounted cd-rom. Anyone got this working in either worm game?
I have heard that in the original worms if the game finds cd.device present on the computer then it automatically assumes its on cd. Anyone know how we can accomplish this?

All help gratefully received.....

Not good. Searching has merely produced more evidence that the patch was never actually written.

See Wormtopia.

And The Worms DC Experience (warning - popup ads). The guy behind this site is requesting any coders to contact him with regard to creating a patch. He also wants help in getting Worms DC to run on WinUAE. Heh heh.

I have recieved a few patch disks from Team17 in the mail, although I'm not sure what version # they are, and I'm not sure what has changed. I'll check them out and throw the adf's in the zone. They replace disk 1 completely.

I know for a fact that Andy had made a new exe that had fixed a LOT of bugs in the game. I don't think I have it still though (I think I lost it in a harddrive crash). As far as I know, he was reluctant in releasing the patch since a lot of ppl on #amiga were asking asking for TCP/IP support and all this other crap to be thrown in with it.

I've recently tried to get the Animations and CD Audio to work but to no avail.
First i tried the original executable then the patched one " V1.05 -17/10/97 " which is available at Dream17.co.uk
Here is my Startup.

RunBack >NIL: WORMSDC
SCSI_DEV=cd.device
SCSI_ID=0
CD_PATH=CD0:
CD_AUDIO=yes
CD_ANIMS=yes
EndCLI >NIL:

I also tried it without the SCSI_ID line and with a different path.
Currently i'm using the Animation files from the Worms CD32 CD and Audio,
I assume the Animation files on the CUCD7 is the same but the CD Audio is different.

I've attached the readme file for anyone willing to check it.

If anyone has the CUCD7 then please get in touch

I already own the orginal AGA floppy version of WormsC. I'm interested in a CD32 version - does it contain audio tracks?

I've just had a look at it and CUCD7 doesn't have any CDDA - just a data track. Do you still want a CCD of this?

CD Audio

Strange.... My CUCD is playable on an ordinary CD Player... The Wormsong has been completely over used on my Hi-Fi System

Perhaps it was a long day I'll have another look when I get home, but yesterday I'd have bet my ass that it didn't have CDDA.
