I stopped using Amigas in 1995. What games did I miss?
Have there been any interesting releases for the Amiga (OCS/ECS specifically) in the post mortem period?

wow, im suprised nobody has mentioned THE game of `96
Kick Off 96. With gameplay so incrdible, you just have to play it to beleive it. Words cannot express the emotions you will feel after the first 5 mins of play ![]() |

I enjoyed my copy, maybe because I tried to play every Amiga platform game. I can't find any bad detail.

Try HOL for all results:
http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?Y_released=1996 Change the last number to the year of your choice for all results. |

Slamtilt .... the best game on the A1200!
Swos 96/97 obviously XP8 is good but lacks music Blobz is a nice puzzler Mega Typhoon is decent shooter for a quick blast I have a soft spot for Wendetta 2175 as well but tbh it's not great |

Mega Typhoon really blew me away when I first saw it. From all the games mentioned here, is one that is really worth.
All Terrain Race it's an awesome game too... Fighting Spirit and Total Football are pretty good too. Wembely International Soccer is basically just European Champions! released again with just a few new touches which makes no difference to the gameplay at all (and I am not even sure the ECS version has those new touches). If you played European Champions (or any incarnation of it, since the game has been released under a dozen of different names), you aren't missing much by not playing Wembley International Soccer. |

I thought XP8 was awful imo just boring, noticing exciting, attack patterns etc very dull!

Yeah, someone recommended XP8 like "Best shmup on Amiga ever". It looks kinda nice but it plays very shitly.
Mega Typhoon is like 20000 times better. |
