What is the correct name of this beat'em up game?
I thought this *should* be a fairly obvious one, but it isn't.
At least the logo (below DRAGON) showing a sun with two birds flying on its right half rang a lot of bells, but didn't suffice to find out the publisher. DBS attached. Last edited by andreas; 16 January 2005 at 02:13. |

More findings...
The game seems to originate from Italy.
Maybe it is called "Bruce Lee" or something. Here's the contents of the directory of my compilation disk: |

Well, the name is obviously "Dragon".
Seems like "FOR YOU" is a company name, but a really stupid one. Maybe you find some more information if you investigate the executable with a hex editor. Last edited by derSammler; 16 January 2005 at 12:46. |

That definitely looks like a game that I'd only play if someone held a shotgun to my head. :barf

Good guess, Photon
It really PLAYS that way even @Windowskiller Been there, done that. ByteKiller 1.x crunched executable, relocated. (Won't execute after decrunching). Nothing there apart from a Soundtracker song embedded in this file, and the files accessed in clear text. |

Why the suspicion? What indicates that the name might not be simply "dragon?

"FOR YOU" is clearly not part of the title.

It doesn't look like an amiga at all - it reminds me those first CGA games that were out in 1988 for M$Do$ 3.30.

Well 'FOR YOU' is not part of the name.
if it's Bruce Lee, then it's just gonna be called Dragon, like the film of the same name and the official 3 player game. |
