I've not seen the Bubble Bobble one yet, but I thought his first attempt at Puggsy was (unintentionally) hilarious. Laughing at him stirs some uneasy emotions though. Is it morally acceptable to mock retarded down-and-outs? Quote:

I'm really getting a kick out of Andy's 1HMPS channel at the moment. He's starred in various audio podcasts along with a team of retro gaming geeks, as well as recording a series of solo videos on YouTube, which feature games on all systems from the humble Speccy to the arcades. Really personable, entertaining host with a radio-quality voice.
His regular '8bit Wars' grudge match slot is fantastic. He takes a game, shows us the original arcade version followed by its converted counterparts on the Spectrum, Amstrad and C64, and finally picks a winner. There's none of that petty 'my computer's better than yours' bias nonsense because he owned all three as a kid. It's made me realise that there was no 'best' 8bit computer, only best conversions or versions of games. It's been a fascinating reminder of the miracles talented programmers could perform on such limited hardware. Don't miss Andy's 'WTF' videos either for a run-down of some of the worst titles in gaming history. It must have taken serious dedication to sabotage these license to this degree! |

Code:
Composer: Reyn Ouwehand This was to be the loader for a new Flimbo's Quest, but apparently the programmers of the original did not receive as much money as requested for completion of the original or get it as soon as they liked, so the project never reached shelves. An incomplete working level allegedly existed and may still be hidden somewhere, but all we have now is the less-rare loader with the music, which would have been great seeing as Reyn would have composed it again. A few tidbits do exist in the SID available on HVSC, one of which is this and the other a remixed level start jingle. I hope this gets remade someday; the sequel was planned with 5 huge levels and probably better difficulty curve. Code:
You can watch to the first Level from two awesome good old Ninja-Games at the same time - the C-64 version on the left - the Amiga version on the right.
