A polish dude is working on a flashable kickstart for the amiga 1200!

Flashkick1200 is device for Amiga1200 systems, that will allow You to FLASH Your kickstart file into Amiga1200 and use it.

Idea is simple - You remove Your old kickstarts roms, Insert FashKick1200 , insert back Your OLD ROMS into FashKick1200 and power ON AMIGA. Under workbench software You will be able to program Your amiga operating system with any kickstart accepted by WINUAE

What does it mean ?

You will be able to edit You kick file, test it before flashing on PC with emulator, add Your devices files and many more.

Did I mention that FlashKick1200 will also offer quadrupple clockport expander? Yes, it will

Oh, last but not least - how about FashKick1200 will allow You flashing 3 custom kicks ? hmm.. Interested ? Drop me mail

Looks nice but multiple flash adapter designs have appeared and disappeared previously...

It is nearly perfect if it also support following extra requirements: (also sent via email)

- 2M and 1M support.
- Standard in-circuit flashing protocol supported.
- Works exactly like ROM. No weird early boot rom selection menu stuff etc. I don't trust those and I also require that hardware state is 100% unmodified after reset. (aros m68k stuff for example)
