I'm having a guess at GODS but I've got loads of game titles coming to mind because it's such a short and generic sounding sample.

Looking forward to the next one though!

I havn't listened to the sounds, but that wont stop me from taking a wild guess:

the sound the balls make on the shield in IK+
the jump sound from Giana Sisters
the laser in space invaders

No ones got it right yet. If guesses dry up Ill just scrap this one and post the next.

I think getting a sound that is the right balance between well known and obscure is gonna be more difficult than I thought.

Next one will probably be too easy.
