I cannot make whdload execute a command after it exits????
I must be dumb or something....
I have a command in C: called automon that makes the parallel port to output mode so my switch can become automatic. but whdload resets this setting, so in order to go back to rtg display, I must re-run this command after whdload ends. so I edit S:whdload.prefs and I put that: ExecuteCleanup=C:automon but after quiting I get this message: "The command you specified via ExecuteCleanup has failed (ReturnCode=1 DosError=0)" entering on a cli window "c:automon" works fine.... what am I doing wrong??? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Could it be that your command does return 1 even if it works? If WHDLoad could not find the command it would likely return 5 I think.

Did you check if the command indeed was NOT executed? It might just happen that this program doesn't return with a cleared errorcode (coder didn't clear register d0 upon exit) so WHDload interprets that as an error.

Check the Zone keropi, this prog does the same as your automon, but clears d0 on exit.

Since all the program does is doing bset #2,$bdf200 I bet it shouldn't be much of a problem to add it to whdload.
