looks and sounds great!

You could use the copper to give that Speccy cellophane overlaid on the screen look of the original cybernoid...call it Cellophanoid

It looks bloody cool actually. A masterclass in how to do a lot with less.

Inspiring!

I am still for a rainbow copper background. Else it's not real Amiga.

Always have deep respect for H0ffman Music and game ports.
This one spot on and remarkable close to the original and then on a stock A500 machine...really stunning.
H0ffman is one of these guys who can bring bunch of new games (ports) to Amiga

Still silently hoping for a "Snatcher SD" MSX port in the future :P

back on http://twitch.tv/djh0ffman tonight for the regular #Amiga #gamedev stream. Been a week of weight loss for the project but now in a good position to do more of the below. Time to put the tooling through it's paces and see what breaks. See you from 8PM GMT/UK

Another brilliant creation H0ffman. Assember programming still looks crazy to me, but boy does it show how we waste CPU cycles on modern hardware with our current programming languages.

Mostly because it is made with Unity. Which makes it possible to do the game in a much, much shorter timeframe.

Unity, the unreal engine and such are indeed powerful but darn sponges as resources

This was made with Unity?

Hoffman being involved is the icing on the cake

Pretty sure the Amiga version isn't

The Amiga WB mouse cursor is a nice touch for the PC version

Yeah the only nice touch, other than that the game bites your head off. Sheesh! Hardest game I've ever played I think.

Unity is not the most efficient tool of the trade to do simple 2D games, but you use what you know. Nobody deserves to receive flack for putting out a perfectly functional game in a manageable timeframe just because someone else is doing a minimalist approach and probably will take months to do so.

I've been watching H0ffman do some of the programming on his twitch stream. That man can program.

Can't wait for the release.

Unity is to the PC what most backbones are to the Amiga. It requires indecent hardware specificaction to display simple stuffs.
It may suits some people but not others.

Not quite. Unity runs not only PCs. That's the main reason why it's 'indecent' on PC.

Well that and the development of it is pretty random. Subsystems staying in beta forever, things becoming deprecated without a replacement system, things NOT deprecating so you end up with 6 render pipelines to choose from, etc. etc. There does not really seem to be a captain on the ship.
