Playable with 'singular' buddy tho, as it's 1 human player with 2 CPU or 2 human players with 1 CPU. 3 human players didn't happen some years on from the original game design.

The intro video with the dropship bit in it will be 720p video with every copy in digital or physical form. The CD32 Digital .ISO version may also include the 2 full promo music tracks as .mp3, still working on all the stuff like that.

If I put it in I'll give you a credit in the game

The main problem is that the character firing anims (like Chaos Engine) are all static jobbies, so when moving a character say left and wanting to fire right for example, the sprites will look odd sliding around the screen.
I may be able to get round that by just using the walk anims when firing in 2 stick mode, but it would probably still look a bit odd. I'll give it a go tho OK.

If I can do it nicely I'll put it in else not of course. No problem tho as April is pretty much full testing month and last chance to get everything in and fixed before duplication.

I will say that some of the code is quite complex now and even tho very well commented, some of it gives me the fear as I wrote parts of it quite a while ago. It takes some time just to figure out how some of it actually works. Getting old LOL

I put the twin stick option in today, but sadly just took it out as it sorta worked but looked odd. Mostly though, it badly messed with the open/close door logic when the player sprite or another players sprites in 1 human plus 2 CPU player mode, was pressed against any level door and while human player 1 was firing in a alternate direction to which it was moving ...so not happening sorry

Game is now on silver beta version after 2 previous test versions were released for test, so going well otherwise and already plays pretty nicely.

60Hz NTSC mode (actually 30FPS) is good for a bit extra smooth play too.

Update:

We're testing the Silver beta version now. My best guess is it will be in test for another few weeks perhaps before it goes Gold.

The Big Glossy Boxes are in production now at the printers.

As seen on the AmigaBill stream last night, here is the Micro Series standard case version which are now in production too.

Smart Bomb trigger is Space Bar or 2nd joystick button [POTGOR] (Yellow on A500Mini).

On the controller for the CD32 version it's Blue.

All in the manual anyway which is also at the printers now as it happens.

Wow splendid new ! Nice to imagine a sequel of a commercial Amiga game released 30 years after the first episode and still made by the same team and running on an Amiga !

Do you have any contact with the Retro Games Ltd team to promote the game for the A500 Mini ?
