Wonderland and Darkseed: mode promotion possible?

Hi there,

I was wondering: those games look FANTASTIC in laced mode (640x200 if I'm not mistaken), but they flicker so hard I can feel my brains melting after a while looking at them!
Let's say I have them both hd-installed, no Whdload involved here, and I have them running on the Minimig (wich can have it's 68000 onboard CPU clocked at 50MHz, so speed is not a problem at all). The Minimig also has a built-in flicker fixer that displays 15Hz modes at 31Hz, but those games keep flickering A LOT.

Is it possible to make Darkseed and/or Wonderland work at non-laced modes, like 640x400 instead of the flickering hell 640x200?
