I'm a big fan of Isometric games and that possibly will be my next main drive on the Amiga.

Would love an isometric approach to some of the Survival Horrors of other consoles, like on the Megadrive with their Resident Evil port; thought some time ago of something a la Dead Space, still have to figure out how to get the dismemberment part, though...

Just rename the ".zip" to ".bmp"..
Everything's aligned to word boundary already.

Those BOBs still need to be mirrored, though.

@dlfrsilver, I was thinking of you but thankfully Steril707 has all those sprites, just need to get all the other elements (backgrounds which are pretty easy)

@Steril707, thankyou, yes something original but the engine could be used for an enhanced port (I'll add the mockup to my todo list, did just try out half-bright shadows that look quite nice for the players )

@malko looks like a great sequel and lots of potential (at least all the assets are done Really like Faery Tale Adventure, and Isometric too.

@saimon69 noted, don't think we have too many Survival Horrors and the Resident Evil game "Bio Evil" is interesting, possible port?

Always welcome new games to the Amiga whether it be remakes or a new concept altogether... am I right in assuming these will run on stock Amiga?

Hi lesta_smsc, I would say at this stage yes but extra memory might be the only extra requirement. I have corrected the first post now with OCS/ECS and added a quick updated mockup on first post (each perspective area needs to be redrawn but you get an idea of the copper colouring)

Both Dan (coder) and I won't be working further till end of Feb 2020 (or possibly later) as we both are working on Iridium (and RPIII)

Quite happy if it needs additional 512KB and maybe market it as 1MB Amiga required lol like they used to on coverdisks.

Thanks Skyzoo73. Dan is doing a great job coding and a huge Amiga fan.

Today did spent a small amount of time on the logo branding, and it’s coming together. Also real assets will come in soon. We both decided AGA is the target machine but will have an ECS demo to play.

What a pity, I hoped it was another jewel for the Amiga500, but I understand the choice to focus on the Aga. However, I would like to reiterate my compliments to all of you, if a game had been seen on Amiga at the time, it would have cried out to the miracle! Congratulations and I can't wait to see the work you are doing on the new graphics, and also to try the ECS demo to be honest!

Looks awesome - the vid reminds me on Thunderforce for the Sega Genesis.

If we can ever down scale it to ECS, I’m happy to spend the extra effort. I have a test background for Dan to replace old assets, and in the ECS/AGA versions they are fairly similar for the multi parallax backgrounds, I’ll share the info soon.

AMike yes Thunderforce is a big influence for this shooter.

Looks absolutely amazing! I hope you can produce a cut down ECS version tho, as the initial demo looked great too!

I'm a bit confused now, the thread title says this is a ECS game but recent posts talk about it being AGA. So I guess I'm wondering: is the video AGA?

And just to add something about the video itself, it looks great!
Brilliant background graphics (ok, foreground graphics also look great ) and I really like the animating bullets, something you don't often see on the Amiga!
