Just posted on GAF now, https://www.neogaf.com/threads/new-g...post-263122217 Not sure if it will get much focus, i asked hariseldon from the old GAF ST Challenge thread if he would cover it on his new site https://www.bitmaps.co.uk/ Also, subscribe to his videos, theyre excellent - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaO...a-VELO0NQbis3Q No man, I dont know about d-pad? like controller d-pad or user on gaf or? Also, is it possible to gift a digital copy from your itch website? if so how to? (assuming its within the rules here, would like to have a competition and gift someone a copy, its just some additional support) Last edited by lmimmfn; 16 April 2021 at 00:54. |

If you click Buy Now button, the popup window for payment appears and there is a tag "Give this game as gift"

And, yes, it's possible to gift someone a copy over itch.io. No idea, how, though... lol |

don't mention it... cheering is so much easier then creation ANY game, let alone this. I'll always support Amiga developers, and especially finished projects at this quality. I didn't wanted to give feedback, simply because the game is finished, and I doubt you'll do any changes at this point, no matter the feedback. (and I am sure, you are already sick of feedbacks ) And I've played it a really little (maybe 5-10 minutes), then I had to get back to work. But here you go: downsides: I personally like faster pacing (meaning, both ship and enemy to be twice faster (something like project X). I don't mind "no autofire", however I noticed that powerups are not of destroyed enemies, but just at specific locations, meaning that you don't have motive to destroy any of them (at least weakest), and you can just avoid them. I personally think that "drops" of "goods" fron destroyed enemies are huge motivator to destroy them. Uppers: Well, first of all - I LOVE THE DESIGN! These graphics are very Unique! Never seen anything like it anywhere. Can't wait to see how it looks on my CRT TV. These robots are super cute and cool. I was never THAT impressed with parallax in Amiga games (even back then), but here, you did it so awesome, that I died few times, just because I was watching BG scrolling. Music is perfect match, and I really like SoundFX. Last, but not least: The game is addictive. Very addictive... let's try one more round... ------------------------ All in all great game, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Take my feedback with huge reserve (especially downsides), because I played it very little so far, and I am not much into the side scrolling shooters anyway. Once you decide to remake Final Fight for Amiga, I'll promise I'll have better feedback. Cheers! |

My personal view is that I want to survive a game, I never saw any benefit in killing as many enemies as possible. Wish there was a possibility to get through the game without firing one shot. |

That's why I said "at least weakest", because, when I write that, I remembered that you indeed need to kill, some to pass by, and these cute robots, to pass by more easily (so they don't shoot at you all the time). Besides, maybe killing them brings the points, maybe points get's you more lifes... that would also makes perfect sense... But, as I said, I've played it too little, to get any detailed feedback... Keep up the great work mate. I wish more individuals pulls of, what you did. Enjoy the fame in our little world - you are well deserved it. |

Would an autofire joystick work with this? I must say the player ship controls are very precise as is collision detection. If i die its my fault. Graphics are nice. Yes, the parallax looks great. It is also addictive gameplay wise. So far i have reached the 4th level.
The music is not bad but maybe more channels/sounds . Its a solid and enjoyable shooter at least. |

Any tip for the 3rd boss ?
@Adrian : an autofire would work provided it can be set with the right frequency. If too fast, it won't work in this specific game. (if you hit the fire button too fast, the firing pace is reduced). |

Very nice game Congratulations on finishing it. I have buy it and play till reaching four stage. There are some pros and there are some cons, overall it's a great game and I have fun with it.
I like how intro screen looks, but I do not like that speach samples and tune in intro, in my opinion simple fast showing logos will be enough. I like that in intro You have information about those two power ups, You could add S letter on speed up and P letter on gun power up for better understanding them. Also some kind of hard mode would be welome with enemies shooting more bullets, maybe even suicide bullets when You destroy them, also bosses could have more hit points. For pros I would like to say that levels got cool themes and I like different set pices like first level when You fly in space, than You see big planet in background and next You fly into that structure and at the end into boss chamber. It is better that watching one repetitive background for whole stage. I also like how You can fly Your space ship precisely so You can maneuver in levels full of obstacles and narrow tunnels. |

Autofire will probably be added in balance patch 1.
Along with: * switched weapon upgrade 4&5 * losing only two instead of three upgrades if you die * getting 500 bonus points for each remaining ship at the end of the game. Bug fix: * seldom occuring graphics glitch at endboss of lvl5 (as seen on Amiga Bill's show) |

A niggle regarding Level 5:
The boss hitboxes (small ones and the big main weapon) are completely black. Maybe this can be fixed, too? ? Quote:

Give me a day or 2 to think up some kind of fair competition to provide a download copy . I do want to make sure it would be a user who never intended to get the game for whatever reason. |
