The Amstrad more especially the plus range including the GX4000, is really starting to impress especially with the Shadow of the Beast demo shown off on the Amstrad CPC Plus, which amazed pretty much everyone who saw it. But today's update video is once again showing us just how good the Amstrad is, as thanks to a new video by Stab1l0b0ss, he has shown us better footage of the Ghosts 'N Goblins overhaul that is being coded by Golem13, Graphics by Winner and Sound/FX by Ixien!

The Amstrad CPC is a very nice machine. One of the best 8-bits - even better than the C64, but not better than the Sam Coupe. And the GX 4000 is even nicer, but as game console is didn't succeed well in the NES/SNES, Master System/Mega Drive space. As shown on the videos above if programmed well it can do near Amiga ECS quality.
One of these Amiga like demos is the Batman Forever demo from Batman Group:

Very nice games, that can be pretty good candidates for Amiga ports with enhanced graphics and sound. For example Babas Palace, Basket Cases, Bitume etc..

I always thought that machine was underrated, it'd be nice to see what coders got out of it in the mean time.
