well

i have three pcs one a2000 and v. limited space
i found this neat switchbox that can switch monitor mouse and keyboard

now
i wonder if a pc keyboard could be made to work with my belowed miggy (and wouldn't be bad if the mouse could be adapted either)

yes i'll even make myself a homemade circuit thingy if i need to

this is way too tempting
four computers one monitor one keyboard one mouse

if not possible hey i'll make do with monitors
(won't always have to go to the back of the damn thing to switch)

No problem, I've been using pc keyboards and mice on my A4k for years...

Look on Aminet in the hardware hacks section, load of projects for adaptors there...

try mmkeyboard but I can't remember which one I did for the mouse

iirc they both just need an eprom and a resistor or two, the mouse one fits inside the 9 pin hood

ps2m looks like a very good mouse adaptor - I'm planning to make one myself, haven't gotten around to it yet!

Supports up to 5 buttons & 2 wheels, if you connect it to both joyports (& load the right software), or up to 4 buttons & 1 wheel (I think?) on 1 joyport.
