clone xilinx is possible?

i have a board 68030 for repair, if xilinx is broken or not update, i can clone from a board ok ???

If the Xilinx chip came from the same type of board, then it should be OK to desolder it and solder it in place in your other board.
These chips are programable, which means that they contain some code to handle/operate the logics in the accelerator board, you can't just buy a similar chip and replace it - it needs to have the same code programmed. It's very doubtfully that you'll ever find the code (and you'd need to find a JTAG for the chip to program it) for these accelerator boards, so unless you have another identic accelerator, you're out of luck!

Keep your eyes open for someone selling/giving away a broken card of the same type, then you can harvest its chips to get one board up and running.

thanks, i have 2 board equal, one ok whit 3.0 the other whit bios update for 3.1 broken, i exchange the bios but don't go, i suppose need update the xilinx or eprom on board defect

i prommed an eprom with my bios, now the tqm go with 3.1 and the other tqm is alwais ko, but i am sure the tqm is a clone of cobra or revers.

fantastic i have now a a1200 with 68030-50 fpu and 3.9 with 64 mega of ram
