ROM Switcher w/manual switch??

Hi,

I have an omni-boot rom switcher for my A2000 and can't seem to find any info for it online. It works with black wire to Gary(3) and CIA(8) for left mouse button switch but doesn't work with black wire to Gary(3) and Paula(33) for right mouse button switch.

Actually I would much rather use a 'real' switch mounted to the back of the miggy. Could I do that instead?

I was just going to try it but don't want to damage anything.

can you make some pics from the device and how it fits in your a2000?
maybe this way, someone can give some advice.

I have a real switchable one that was in my 2000HD until I sold the main unit.

Complete with version 2 ROM and an empty space to put whatever ROM in it you want.

Going cheap if you're interested?

Probably easier to connect ROM chip enable/chip select lines directly to switch(es) and ignore the switching logic.

Toni,

That's what I would like to do but was wondering if hooking it up to a toggle switch would be safe. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if that is the same thing that is happening thru being hooked to Gary and Paula.
