Space crusade A1200 version
See the third disk scan at http://hol.abime.net/2021/diskscan
Anyone know if there was actually an A1200 version of this game? |

If I remember rightly, Space Crusade always had compatibility issues with the A1200. This might be a fixed version.

It was contributed to the hol. Can't remember by who though...
As CodyJ says it is likely to be a fixed version - I certainly am unaware of there ever being an AGA version of the game |

No, no extra versions. Was not AGA compatible until that nice NOMAD man released a AGA patch to the "scene" and no doubt now works fine via WHDload as everything seems to....

So; any news...!?
I'm just playing Aga fixed version of Space Crusade on my vanilla A500; and find it not to be combatible with the Extension disk ?! Btw; How to actually Save a game state..?! I completed the first mission; even with my whole party dying. ( the score was about 280 ?) Anyway; when I selected the next mission, I had to re-select my team (Imperial Fists), and the game had "forgotten" the case of my team dying (Same names again) ? |

as in the manual there is no reference about this A1200 disk, i think it was a fixed disk to run the game also on A1200 and higher.

Ok, once again; stupid me !
I have played the game a little many years ago; but didn't remember how to access the disk options menu. You'll have to select one of the three Mariner groups first. Only after that the little decoration looking(!) image / icon On the upper part of selection screen comes alive and you can access a new menu. |

I would suggest it was a compilation version, company who licenced it from Gremlin, tested it barely on a1200, decided "it works" and highlighted it with writing a1200 on the disks. Probably also put a sticker on the box Unless Gremlin released a bespoke AGA version, they didn't fix anything for a1200, because I offered to do that for them, but they turned me down flat, but they did ask if I was prepared to complete PM3 Deluxe for them instead. |
