I just bought a lovely CDTV with keyboard (danish) and floppy drive.
It lack a caddy for the cds and the infra red joypad. So I'm looking for these two part, and the brickette

Thx

I dunno where they got em from or how many they had at one time but I've bought at least six CDTV IR remotes over the years from Vesalia for myself and friends.

If only they had the CDTV trackball

You can get non-black caddies off ebay for about €1 + postage.

[edit: ok €5 + postage]

Wonderful device.....now if I can find a SCSI card for my CDTV. I do have a card in the back of an A570...wonder if that would work in a CDTV? Anyone know?

I am 80% sure a SCSI-TV/A570 is the wrong shape for the CDTV. I also think that the hard drive connector is on the other side of the PCB.

They are still alive, although no longer selling products, why not ask them?

http://www.amitrix.com/

I sold mine off a long time ago. I wanted to use the 2Mbyte A570 RAM upgrade instead.

Oh different device that, mine plugs in the expansion port at the rear of the A570 with a external 25pin on the back plate. It's a neat device and there is no ugly box at the back like the amitrix.

I am sure the 2MB memory goes in a different slot than the SCSI card.

I think you are right, maybe the two didn't fit at the same time? Put it this way my SCSI adapter isn't connected to the A570 anymore and it's no where to be seen (but that is not that uncommon in my house).

That black box (White for A570) has a 2.5" hard drive in it. I'd rather have a black box at the back than another thing to power, cable and lug around.

Softhut have them for 12.95US and vesalia for 8.90EU so Amigakit has them at a good price.

BTW Dizzy: Softhut have black caddies pretty cheap, you just have to dig through the site a little. I bought a couple a while back.

Crikey, I almost thought you'd posted without making an advert for your website.
