Emulating NTSC KS 1.0 on a PAL Monitor (???, British TFT PC screen)

I am going to get my hands on a 1.0 Workbench adf of Cloanto sometime soon but I have a question:

The original 1.0 ROM (both the 8k bootstrap and KickStart on floppy but for some reason, an adf was not supplied with the 2006 update that came with a full set of ROMs but rather another ROM file) was NTSC only (which is odd cause i believe that C= was UK). My PC screen is from the UK and is being used in the UK therefore it is PAL (I believe). Any tips, warnings etc?

eh?

PC screens are neither PAL nor NTSC... they are just PC monitors.

Only CRT televisions are truely PAL or NTSC.

So I just stick WinUAE into NTSC mode and off I go?

Sure. Set NTSC, dont set NTSC it really has no effect as far as you are concerned.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that when in cycle accurate mode it changes the timing?

The results would be music playing ever so slightly faster on poorly coded games which used the VBI as a timer.

Other than that I do not know... ask Toni
