Hi,
seems this is a vraie rarité, like the French say. ![]() This came with the original A500 Plus and I wonder if this has already been cracked sometime in the past. I appreciate your infos. ![]() |

Do you mean the Codemasters collection featuring Spike In Transylvania, Elephant Antics, Treasure Island Dizzy and Seymour Goes To Hollywood?

No. This came bundled with the A500 + containing games like Bart vs The Space Mutants or Lemmings. Original versions, that is. Some of the guys here must remember this. |

Well, that was actually my first guess (I've seen the ads in mags), but is there anything different about those games? Surely there's not a menu-based system for loading them. I have always assumed them to the the same versions you could find elsewhere, only included with this set. Maybe the disk labels different, but what else could be changed?

There was no difference whatsoever. I used to know someone with it. There was no menu system because all the games were on seperate disks.

Bart vs. Space Mutants came with an intro disk, which is _not_ part of the disk versions found on the net. |

OK, I will post it as soon as I finish this message.
I checked my files and every version of the game that I got from the net (the zipped adf's) were the single disk version, so I think you were right on that one, although the 2-disk version is in the TOSEC database. So this one I converted from my original DMS files (which means no trainer!) I never was able to get disk 1 to boot for me on my real Amiga back when I got it, which could have been 1-meg chip, no slow/fast mem...not really sure. When I tested the game in WinUAE, I did so with 512k Fast/512k Chip and it ran the whole intro, so I know it works. Have fun! |

I have both the 1 disk version and the 2 disk version originals on Amiga, but they both have Disk based protections so I can't ADF them
All you're missing if you have the 1 disk version is a crappy intro. It's not really worth it ![]() |

It's true. That intro was crap. When you look at what they can cram into Euro Demos or even the incredible stuff Eric Schwartz pulled out, there was no excuse for the disgracefully amateurish intro to this game. On an inferior machine, I'd expect this. Clearly it must be ported from one of those systems. Even the ST is capable of better. Leave it to Ocean...

Does anyone have the cartoon classics version of lemmings? i've looked everywhere on the internet for it but i can't see it anywhere. I remember it had different levels, it didn't have any of the rubbishy 'special' levels with different graphics, it had more difficult levels.(eg. fun 22, Tricky 14) Also, it was just on one disk. Any help would be appreciated.

I would provide the rawread's if there were an adequate and easy means to verifying them - being nigh impossible to extract identical subsequent images in raw mode (?) without error correction via multiple re-reads. If it's any consolation, my original Bart Vs. The Space Mutants (2 disk) Cartoon Classics compilation version has been imaged and is to be dispatched to CAPS anyways.
