Asim CD32 emulator - how to use it?

I have AsimCDFS 3.10 installed and I would like to play CD32 games. There is CD32 emulator included with AsimCDFS but how to use it?
I insert CD32 game into CD-ROM drive and then launch "Simboot" - the result is black screen with Asim logo in the corner and nothing more happens.
When I switch to WB screen with LAmiga+M I can see that there is only 50 kB of free fast RAM (I have 16MB of fast RAM).

How to make CD32 emulator to work properly?

My config: A1200, OS 3.1, 68030, Asus 50x CDROM.

there was another thread about cd32 emus and the result was: squirrelv1.12.dms ( HiSoft.Squirrel.CD32.Emu_v1.12 ) look into the zone. maybe this one works better.

Squirrel is a SCSI drive - will the Squirrel CD32 emu work with IDE CD-ROM?

Yes, just run the installer and say "NO", when asked to add the scsi stuff to startup. After installed edit the CD0: mount file in DEVS:, and point it to the atapi.device (or what ever .device driver your using). It will then run fine.

If your feeling really clever you could setup a custom startup, to mount / boot cd32 games on system boot. Thats how I run mine.
