Also tried the audio with E-UAE with AmigaOS4.1FE
It works very well. Some small but slight imperfections due to the video capture program. otherwise it works perfectly. Too bad the little interest, already with two or three people you could do a good job. Obvious WinUAE is the best for 68k, but there is a huge archive for amiga. Now the goal is to create an ad hoc "workbench" for E-UAE here the video, ok nothing in particular AmigaAmp that works with E-UAE But behind it is the work to do it. Obviously without Toni with WinUAE this would not be possible. So thank you very much again [ Show youtube player ] |

Also added Audacious Player via AmiCygnix
I'm glad they seem to work well. The material for an AmigaOs 4.1FE emulated for use is configured well and very much and is available for those who want to try. Personally as soon as I have time, I will put together everything I have available always following some actions that preserve the original installation. I was looking at a good way to do it, it's not difficult I have to dedicate myself to this project. A good method would be to have everything in the DH1 partition: "Work" and the main system in DH0: "SYS" This is not difficult but it takes time for those who want to emulate AmigaOS 4.1FE update1 to do it. The configuration scripts should be put in SYS and the rest in Work. But I have to see how best to do it. Here the video of the "Player Audacious" [ Show youtube player ] |

Here the beta 03 of Odyssey works very well.
Special thanks to "kas1e and to all the people who are working on this project". I would like to make a long video with all the applications that work with 4.1 as soon as this is possible I would like to make it. And possibly redo a guide for those who have difficulties to start an installation completely from scratch to put on Youtube. With the experience accumulated over time in a single video that I think would last a long time. Although an installation script would be much simpler. here the video of Odyssey 1.23 R5 beta 03: [ Show youtube player ] |

Well, I'm doing some frame rate tests with amigaos 4.1FE
Unfortunately the video is only in German with Italian subtitles. In these sad moments maybe a little irony helps to remember how beautiful the world is :-) And maybe it could be better. [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by White; 31 March 2020 at 09:39. Reason: error |

Also added the scummVM emulator in this case I was curious to see if BladeRunner worked.
Broken Sword works and others too. But "BladeRunner" I was uncertain instead it works, a little more to improve, but it works. here the video: [ Show youtube player ] Instead, here a second video if this somehow violates the EAB rules I apologize, it is just a frame-rate test and certainly not offensive. So I apologize to the moderators. Thanks. here the video: [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by White; 31 March 2020 at 04:08. Reason: update |

Hi,
A further test with Odyssey in full screen without using composite. I have to keep in mind that I don't use a real machine but winuae here a little experiment with Odyssey in Fullscreen. I still have to do many tests and honestly I don't know Odyssey as a Browser and its configurations. In addition, the RTG table affects performance in some way. In addition PatchCompositeTag requires many tests with specific tables (at least I think) that I will do soon. I hope thellier has patience to wait, and thanks again for your availability. Some libraries have been replaced to adapt to winUAE here the video of the test: [ Show youtube player ] |

Hi, ma693541
You're right, initially the project was to create a small guide to use amigaOS 4.1FE Classic. So also to make small fixes in winUAE for 4.1 And Toni has made fixes over time. Afterwards I did some tests to see if 4.1 was worth using and fun to use it. I continued and continue to put videos to share what I do with 4.1. Not so much for my Youtube channel dedicated to winuae, I honestly don't care if many people (I have few people) watch the videos, but the quality of those who decide to try to use the 4.1FE Classic is interesting. I have also seen that in fact the request for suggestions and questions on this thread are few. So there are two answers to this that I gave myself 1) this thread is not interesting for anyone 2) it is I who probably do not know 4.1 well (and in fact I do not know it because I have never had a real machine for 4.1) and everyone else knows him and has no questions to ask. This is why I have never put a guide in .pdf or anything else dedicated to this, because few people as I have seen are interested in this emulation. While it would be constructive if even few people would be interested in this. But as I said I never see any questions in the thread Or some suggestions on 4.1FE. I also understand that there is certainly no need for 4.1 to view videos is to play or do anything else. But here we are on a site dedicated to Amiga and we are talking about Amiga. I definitely don't need to use this software with AmigaOS when I can do everything with the "PC" And also with other emulators and more efficient alternative operating systems. But we are all here because we simply like to use Amiga again. The great work of Toni remains implied Toni is lucky not to have known me personally in front of a nice dinner I would fill him with questions :-) |

Thank you White for your kind and long answer. I had one time an AmigaOS 4.1FE Update 1 .vhf on my PC and deleted it to clear up some space. I too like WinUAE and it's possibilities to emulate PPC and hope some time in the future that you can write this guide. Don't let people like Hewitson offend you off your task to get our goal; An emulated PPC with AmigaOS 4.1.
Keep it going and have a nice Easter even in this hard time where most of it is turned upside-down. |

Hi, ma693541
No instead thanks to you, indeed I was pleased to answer you and thank you for your interest. Personally I worked all over Europe before deciding to stop for personal reasons. All people are the same, as also in Italy, It just depends on who you meet :-) My best wishes to you too. |

Hi,
another test with Odyssey, I purchased the software enchancers I have to better configure the audio and better understand the software. I'm currently trying to find an RTG table compatible with everything. Actually I found it but I have to put some work back together. however I am satisfied. I must say that the more time passes, the more I realize that 4.1 must be adapted for winuae, a simple installation is not enough to make everything work in emulation. It would be nice to have a lot more support for this, some small fixes would help the 4.1FE Classic for winuae a lot. here video: [ Show youtube player ] |

Another test with Odyssey with MUI.
I have to understand how it works, of course always within the limits. Here many "TABs" open together, I raised the resolution a bit Youtube and other sites work together and some small programs are downloaded simultaneously. I'm testing, for me it's like using the 3.xx like when I had the classic amiga. It would be important to find a tutorial on MUI and how to use it. any suggestions are welcome. Thank you. here the video: [ Show youtube player ] |

Hi,
my tests continue, now Odyssey in beta 05 seems to work well in full screen, I have to work on the graphics of the entire system, which I have neglected to date. etc. In the meantime I used a real hard disk I didn't use the usual initialization but I changed the driver that takes care of initializing the hard disk and it seems to work. Now I can open files, partitions, and other programs without slowing down the system while other applications are running, I will add this in the next video. I still have to work well on it and carry out other tests. To make all applications compatible with each other. here the video: updated the video, the other was not loaded correctly [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by White; 18 April 2020 at 14:11. I was asked to put on an Odyssey video without using the video capture program.
the screen of the workbench is 1920x1080 while the proprietary screen of MUI is currently 800x600 the advantage is that you can see how it actually works. without removing some winuae options that conflict with the capture program. here the video: [ Show youtube player ] |

Hi,
Other tests with some RTG tables to make the programs compatible with each other here AmigaAMP is used in streaming, TuneNET E-UAE Emotion FlashMandel etc. The job is to find a good configuration to make everything work without crashes etc. [ Show youtube player ] |

The other day, I reinstalled AmigaOS4.1FE Classic 53.70 and encountered this problem after installing the SDK 53.30 downloadable from the Hyperion website.
He kept asking me to insert the volume "TBIMAGES" when I launched the applications just do this assign in the user-startup: assign tbimages: SYS:Prefs/Presets/tbimages Here a small video on how to do it: [ Show youtube player ] |
