Battle Squadron PAL in ADF format is in The Zone!

I uploaded in The Zone! a PAL version of battle squadron in ADF format directly ripped from the IPF PAL version by using XCopy on WinUAE and a custom blank disk.

I think it's the first PAL version in ADF format of this amazing shoot game.

I will try this afternoon to transfert it to my real A500 (100% working in WinUAE). I hope it will works...

Why creating a such disk ??? He, he Because all version in TOSEC set are NTSC ones and the PAL users need a FULLSCREEN version !!!!

Download it, transfert it and play it fullscreen on your real amiga, it's a great experience !

Ouch, the file size is about 2 mb uncompressed...

I'm afraid that a transfert will not work... argh !

An idea ?

You are right. You cannot transfer an extended adf to a real disk without extra work (which will require a lot of special knowledge)

I just had a look at it. The crack is ok, but the loader has the head-step delay set FAR too long

This game is fantastic, but when it comes to blast NOVA bombs, it is very difficult or quite impossible to do the joystick rotation with joypad. The WHDLoad version implements this on the second fire button. Any chances to have this feature in floppy based Battle Squadron (PAL)[cr FLASHTRO]? Or does any patch exist, which does this? To be able to play comfortably on floppy based miggy.

Using an original Battle Squadron (or created using Kryoflux) you can use a PSX Adapter board (which i am making) to allow you to use a playstation controller. This will allow you to use the "O" an "X" buttons as fire buttons to allow you to easily control the nova bomb

I know, shameless plugs but if it works... plug it

The best solution is to buy a joystick "competition pro" on www.amigakit.com. Like this, you will have a joypad (i have for example a megadrive one) and a perfect joystick. Very usefull for the "Kick off" and "Sensible soccer" series (i find them totally unplayable with a joypad)

. Of course, if someone can implement a such patch on the flashtro release for the ones who don't want to use a joystick at all, it would be a nice idea.
