Launching a 3D accelerated game on my towerized A500T/060/CV3D, Adescent Virge version. Even with its crooked textures it was something unbelievable on Amiga, was playable up to 320x400.

In 1986 in a local fair there was a computer store with an Amiga 1000 on display, with Deluxe Paint and Aegis Animator: i thought was the most powerful home machine i did seen so far and wanted desperately to make games on it!

Leeching Amiga DMS files from a /X board for the first time with the USRobotics Courier 14400 baud HST modem (the Supra 2400 baud modem became a doorstop after this point).

I am reminded of the time I saw Shadow of the Beast demonstrated by an Amiga in a shop around (I'm sure it was) 1989, and thought it looked great.

But even after that, I still had a massive BRAIN FART and bought An Atari ST instead, in 1990. I must've been trippin'...!

at the time i was a soccer nut, and the first Kick Off disk remained glued into the Amiga for a lot of time; finally a soccer game really smooth and fast, cool messy period with my friends, destroyed joysticks era

I said "wow" a lot, but probably my first "whoa sh" moment was seeing the intro of Wrath of the Demon for the first time. I had played the Amiga Action demo and was pretty wowed by the game so we got it. The intro scared the bejesus out of very young me (it didn't take much back then), all of a sudden there was an Amiga game with actual murder and blood in the intro.

It unnerves me to see the intro to this day Amazing artwork.

Sword of Sodan for me because it was just so impressive to behold. I had an ST at the time and loved it but this made me very envious

Plenty of times the Amiga made me say woah, but I think the first Woah! was the sound that FA18 Interceptor made when it was loading.

Nobody has a video of F/A 18 interceptor humming noise in the title screen on the unexpanded A500?

Another World was one of the games that did it for me.

But the first time I used my Amiga 500 was a Woah moment, the workbench, multitasking, using a mouse.

The demo / introductory disk that came with the 1000 had an sequence, presumably using colour cycling, that gave the effect of flying through the colours, don’t know how else to explain that. It ended with a “woah” feeling, probably because I knew what to expect in terms of Workbench, etc., but that was something new.

Few WOW moments on Amiga,
1. Amiga Space Ace game intro in a store.
2. Shadow of the Beast 3 Intro and the game.
3. MOD music with sampled speech.

Later on when I saw SNES I was thinking that the GFX were not better than on Amiga.
