First place I heard that mod was actually on the Archimedes, and even with the replayer mangling the bassline it was still pretty awesome.

I know I'm probably going to get shot for this, but I still think graphically the Acorn demo is better...

[ Show youtube player ] is 'Transmortal' running on an A3010 (12mhz ARM250, but it still ran okay on an 8mhz ARM2)

It's a nice prog rock tune although I wouldn't say it's the king of all mods. Some of the samples have some very noticeable aliasing and certain parts just go on way too long without direction - I find my attention wandering.

For me 4mat's "Her Song" and "Harlequin" is still the best

Well I had the A3010 (12Mhz ARM) any my bro had an A1200 (12MHz 68020), so CPU-wise they were fair enough comparisons. I've also seen the demo running on an A3000 (8MHZ ARM), which would be on par with the A500.

I wouldn't get too wound-up about this though, the Amiga tends to slay the Arc in pretty much all other circumstances. Even owning one I'd describe it as 'the machine the Atari ST should have been

"Nibble on my dick" is awesome, too. The original version, not the later "remixed" mod, that one is crap.

If people here never listened it, I'll up it here or to the zone.
