oo is this still going. can i also put in a vote for Turrican II because that is absolutely one of my favourite games on the Amiga (i just didn't think of it being on one disk because of *ahem* a reason). Frontier also still stands..

unpopular opinion though (?) all games should fit on a single disk unless they've got a damn good excuse! Zool was such a pain having to swap disks between the title screen and actually playing it iirc (and took ages to load generally)

Yea Lemmings came on one disk anyway when it was bundled, lacking the intro

What did the budget Turrican 2 lose from only being on one disk?

My top 10, in alphabetical order:
Battle Squadron
Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker
Lotus 1
Lotus 2
Populous 2 (late for such a 'serious' game to be on one disk, though I guess its just Populous 1 with a few tweaks)
Rainbow Islands
Robocod
Rod-Land
Speedball 2
SWIV

If you count games which can be played from a single disk if you skip the intro, The Settlers is probably my favourite of all these though

All Turrican 2 originals came on one disk. Only the... backup copies came on two disks because the original disk had a lot more data than 880k on it (Denis can explain this way better ).

I like a lot of the games mentioned here, if picking one it would be Datastorm.

Frontier Elite 2 for sure. By far. One disk, no loading times and you can take a journey on a whole Galaxy in a almost perfectly designed game.

I must be blind, can't seem to find any entry for this one on HoL. For me, it ought to be Speedball II, Bard's Tale I as a close second. Only one vote for Carrier Command ? Gee, that ain't much.
As a side note, I am not certain each and every game mentioned in this post should be taken into consideration. Seems rather random choices to me. Yogi's Great Escape, ahem, yeah sure !

upps I wanted to say" Ghost Battle"
you know I'm getting old and forgetful

what I was not mistaken about is that Ghost battle is the best 1-disc game, or at least the one with the most graphics and data
a game that requires many many skills to play it btw

the problem is that nobody cracked it in only 1 disk as it comes originally ,so basically if you do not have the original or you have a kyroflux device to write the original ips file to a floppy: you can't enjoy this game in 1 disk in a real Amiga
