Mac emulation on FPGA Amigas (MiSTer)

Hi there!

I would like to try Mac emulation on FPGA Amigas like the MiSTer.
The MiSTer AMIGA core is currently a FAST 68020 + lots of fastRAM + full AGA.

So I guess I should go for Shapeshifter, right?
Also, is there a ready-to-use HDF available to simply load it on the FPGA implementation and boot into old 7.x/8.x MacOS with games ready to test?
I know there are some hard disk images on the FTP, but I cant find any suitable one that simply goes and boots the Amiga into MacOS.

Thanks!!

No HDFs for Mac emulation on Amiga?
I am sure someone must have already done something like that...

A working, bootable Mac emu HDF would require the inclusion of a lot of AmigaOS files that are still actively protected, so this would get removed from most sites.

Moreover the odds of one being tailored for the MISTer are even lower, as it would need to have the environment set up for whatever graphical extensions the MISTer has for chunky or truecolor support (running a color Mac display on an AGA Amiga without an MMU to automate delta detection is agonizingly slow)

Emulating a Mac on FPGA-Amiga makes little sense. There are some dedicated Mac Cores for MiSTer, those should work much better.

@R4M: I only know about the MacPlus core here: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/MacPlus_MiSTer
But its for non-color macs only.

The hard disk support for the Plus Too core is wonky as well, plus limited to 20MB.
